PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device free of a drop of the printing quality such as dislocation in the printing position or shrinkage due to printing and preventing generation wastefulness with the label by eliminating the risk that a difference is generated between a band-shaped base paper and an ink ribbon. SOLUTION: The printing device is equipped with a continuous piece of label 6 and a printing part 12 to make printing on the label 6 through a transcribing material 27, wherein the configuration further includes a separating means 21 to separate the label 5 after being printed from a band-shaped base paper 2 and a takeup means to take up the separated base paper 2, and the transcribing material 27 after conducting the printing is taken up together by the takeup means so that a co-functioning takeup means 31 is established.
