PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a side deviation of a positioning release lever with reliability. SOLUTION: An upper rail 2 movable along a lower rail 1 installed on a floor while supporting a vehicular seat has a positioning element 3 for positioning the upper rail 2 in a given place on the lower rail 1, and a positioning release lever 6 for releasing the positioning element 3 when turned along a main-body raised wall 21 of the upper rail 2 until placed in contact with the positioning element 3. The main-body raised wall 21 consists of two plates 211 and 212, and the two plates 211 and 212 have an opening 24 whose rear edge is raised up to form opposed portions 213 opposed with a given clearance in between. A limiting portion 63 at the point of the positioning release lever 6 is situated between the opposed portions 213 to limit a side deviation when the positioning release lever 6 is put in contact with the positioning element 3.
