PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a foodstuff combination and its food for improving lipid metabolism of human and domestic animals and enhancing immunocompetence, or the like, by making human and domestic animals ingest a food or a feed containing an ascorbic acid and chitosan and to provide a method for producing the foodstuff combination and its food. SOLUTION: This foodstuff combination contains a complex containing one or more ascorbic acids selected from the group consisting of ascorbic acid, ascorbic acid-2-O-phosphate, ascorbic acid-2-O-glucoside and metal salts of these three kinds of the compounds and chitosan. A method for producing the foodstuff combination is provided. The food contains the foodstuff combination. A method for producing the food is provided. |
