PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configurate a bathtub so as to make overflowing water flow out from the specified part of a flange part, and to fill hot water to the original height of the flange part without lowering the hot water surface when supplying the hot water to comfortably bathe, and to easily and surely cover the bathtub by a general purpose lid. SOLUTION: For this bathtub with an overflowing water controlling function, an overflow part 3 for making the overflowing water flow to the side of a place 1 outside the bathtub is provided at a prescribed position in the longitudinal direction of the flange part 2 on the side of the place 1 outside of the bathtub. The overflow part 3 is formed at the same height as the flange part 2 but its curvature ratio is larger than that of the flange part 2. |
