PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent travel performance on an ice and snow road while ensuring high travel performance in a common road such as wet and dry roads. SOLUTION: A tread rubber 2G has a compound rubber part 20 composed of a short fiber compound rubber 20G including a nonmetallic short fiber(f) into a rubber base material having a rubber hardness Hs1 of 58-72 degrees. The fiber(f) has hardness harder than that of ice, a mean fiber diameter of 5-50μm, a mean length of 0.05-5.0 mm, and moreover a compounding quantity of 2-20 pts.wt. to a rubber base material of 100 pts.wt. The part 20 is provided with a base part 20A wherein the fiber(f) is oriented at a right angle to a tread surface 2S, and a surface part 20B arranged in the outer side of the part 20A, and having the fiber(f) being oriented parallel to the surface 2S. |
