PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit excellent separation performance of coarse dirt and fine powder with simple improved structure as a dust box used for a local dust collecting system using a dust collector. SOLUTION: Relating to the dust box used for the dust collecting system in a factory, a collision partition wall 3 is provided extendedly downward from the upper wall 1b in the dust box oppositely to a suction port 2 of the dust box 1 connected to a dust collecting hose to form the primary separation chamber 4 in which the suction port 2 is placed and the secondary separation chamber 5 in which a discharge port is placed and to form a circuitous flow passage R below collision partition wall 3.
