PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent polyester film which shows high transparency and much ease of handling workability and further, has a surface which is hardly scratchable. SOLUTION: This transparent polyester film is formed of a polyester layer A containing silicone rubber elastic product particles with density below 1.1 g/cm3 and 0.5-20μm average particle diameter and finely coagulated particles with the Mohs hardness of 5 or more, laminated on at least one the faces of a polyester layer B containing substantially no particles. In addition, the transparent polyester film is characterized in that the internal haze of the film is 1.5% or less in terms of thickness of 100μm.
