<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging apparatus which is capable of packaging a large number of articles to be packaged in a short time, high in reliability and high in treatment capacity without being affected by the characteristic of a packaging film, the outside temperature, etc. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus comprises a crank mechanism which elevates/lowers a knife heated so that a sealing mechanism welds both ends respectively and a knife heated to weld and cut a rear end, and converts the rotational motion of each electronically controllable motor into the elevating/ lowering motion of the corresponding knife 4 so that the film is welded at each position, and further comprises a knife temperature detection element closely attached to each corresponding knife in order to detect the actual temperature of the knife, the electronically controllable unit calculates the optimum welding period T1 to the knife for welding both ends and the optimum welding period T2 to the knife for welding and cutting, and controls the corresponding motor so that the pressure of each knife is maintained to be a predetermined value over the welding period.</p> |
