PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the attaching structure of the toilet seat and toilet lid of a Western style stool capable of making anyone able to easily perform the attaching work and detaching work of the toilet seat and the toilet lid, reducing a production cost without the need of the members of a shaft body or the like, improving work efficiency by reducing work time relating to them as well and generally supplying an inexpensive Western style stool. SOLUTION: An attaching groove whose cross section is circular composed by notching an upper part is formed on the base end position upper surface of a stool main body, attaching shaft parts whose cross section is circular to be slid inside the attaching groove are respectively formed at the base end parts of the toilet seat and the toilet lid and the attaching shaft parts are made freely attachable and detachable with the opening part side of the attaching groove as a take-out/take-in port. At the time of being mounted, the toilet seat and the toilet lid are turnable in back and forth directions and the toilet seat and the toilet lid are appropriately brought up and down.
