PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for a joint capable of being conformed to the color and pattern of an exterior wall without damaging waterproof performance, the mounting method of the gasket and a gasket-attached building. SOLUTION: The gasket 10 for the joint is constituted of a gasket leg section 11 and a gasket head section 20 connected to the gasket leg section, the gasket leg section 11 has sealing pieces 12 waterproofing the joint, the gasket head section 20 is divided into a plurality of sections 20A, 20B, 25A, and each section has mounting sections 21, 26 closing the joint. The gasket leg section 11 has the sealing pieces 12 extended on both sides of a central base section 13, and a projecting section 22 is formed in either one of the gasket head section 20 or the central base section 13 of the gasket leg section 11 and a receiving section 14, to which the projecting section 22 is connected, to another.
