PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored and patterned nonwoven fabric having colored pattern imparted to a nonwoven fabric with an uneven embossed pattern, woven fabric-like quality, and practical characteristics such as flexibility, design and strength. SOLUTION: (1) This colored and patterned nonwoven fabric having at least one surface partially colored with a pigment and/or a dye to form and fix a pattern, and wholly colored by the dye, and comprising a synthetic fiber having bonds strengthened by uniformly arranged partial concave parts has 0.2-2 mm thickness and >=120 mm bending properties. (2) The method for producing the colored and patterned nonwoven fabric is characterized in that the partial colored pattern is formed and fixed at least on one surface of the nonwoven fabric composed of the synthetic fiber having the bonds among the fibers strengthened by the uniformly arranged partial concave parts, and the resultant nonwoven fabric is colored by the dye.
