PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for inhibiting the accumulation of lactic acid that causes chronic fatigue or the like. SOLUTION: The objective lactic acid accumulation inhibitor includes, as an active ingredient, the protein that is specified by the following properties: (a) this protein forms a single band in the unmodified polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis of the protein in the royal jelly; (b) the molecular weight measured by the SDS-poly-acrylamide gel electrophoresis is about 57 kDa. In another embodiment, this lactic acid accumulation inhibitor includes the royal jelly containing the protein defined by the above-stated properties (a) and (b), in the same amount, preferably in an amount of >=6 wt.% as an active ingredient. |
