PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively exhibit an occupant's head protective function by completely expanding an air bag without being caught by a shoulder anchor in an air bag device with the air bag expanded in curtain shape. SOLUTION: A flexible strip body fixed at one end to a body on a center pillar part 3 is provided, and the other end side of the flexible strip body 14 is extended to the vehicle cross direction inside along the back face of a roof head lining 10 through the lower side of the air bag 5 in the folded state so that the flexible strip body 14 precedes to cover a shoulder anchor 13 when the air bag 5 is expanded. The air bag 5 is thereby expanded appropriately without being caught by the shoulder anchor 13 to positively exhibit an occupant's head protective function. The upper part outer surface of the shoulder anchor may also be formed in a curved surface curved in recessed shape. |
