PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining immune response to a hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) by feeding the antigen in vegetable materials to an animal. SOLUTION: An animal is made to have immune receptivity of HBsAg by former primary immunity, and immune response to the HBsAg is made to increase by making the animal having the immune receptivity take in vegetable material containing the HBsAg.
