PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a stainproof reflector solving the problems that, in the conventional metallic material, plated product or the like, only the one apparently having metallic luster has been obtained and its designing properties have been inferior, and moreover, in the case a cooking material has been heated, the cooking material or broth drawn from the cooking material has been adhered to a reflecting face (inner wall of a cooking chamber) to deteriorate its reflecting characteristics. SOLUTION: In this stain preventing reflector, the surface of a metallic base material reflecting heat rays or the surface of a base material coated with a metallic thin film reflecting heat ray is provided with a thin film essentially consisting of SiO2 as the first layer 2, and the surface of the first layer 2 is provided with a thin film, as the second layer 3, containing a silane compound having a CF3 group or a CH3 group on one end of a molecular chain and having a chlorosilyl group or an alkoxysilyl group on the other end to the one containing at least one or more kinds among ZrO2, TiO2 and Al2O3 as the essential components.
