PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model of vascular endothelium, to provide a method for preparing the same, and to provide a testing method testing using the same. SOLUTION: This model of vascular endothelium is obtained by coating the top surface of a semipermeable membrane with 0.2-6μg/cm2 of collagen and/or 2-20μg/cm2 of fibronectin, and cultivating single layer of vascular endothelial cells on the coated surface. The testing method of vascular permeability of a substance or cell comprises contacting the top surface of a vascular model with a culture medium containing the substance or cell to be tested, then incubating, and further detecting the substance or cell extruded from the bottom of the model.
