摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control construction for structure capable of providing a stable damping effect and being easily maintained at a low cost. SOLUTION: In a building 10 having a vertical frame 34 and a horizontal frame 38 protruded from the vertical frame 34, a friction damper 8 is interposed in a building member provided in parallel to the vertical frame 34 between the horizontal frame 38 and a lower structure. The friction damper 8 is constituted by superposing a horizontal frame 38-side first pressure contact plate 14 on a substructure-side second pressure contact plate 15, relatively movably applying a bolt axial force between both the pressure contact plates 14 and 15, and putting a pair of a friction plate 22 and a sliding plate S between the both. The first pressure plate 14 and the second pressure plate 15 are formed in such a manner as to be two-dimensionally relatively movable. Otherwise, the horizontal frame 38 comprises a plurality of friction dampers 8 in the height direction of the building 10, and an intermediate horizontal frame 44 is interposed between the friction dampers 8.
