PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural member for construction having the flowing- down controllability of water capable of being thinned, capable of being simply manufactured and capable of being also applied to the face-side surface of a building. SOLUTION: A plurality of hydrophilic regions and hydrophobic regions are alternately formed adjacently in parallel on at least one surface of a base material, and boundaries among the hydrophilic regions and the hydrophobic regions are extended in the diagonal direction to the vertical direction at a time when the base material is brought to a vertical state.
