PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability in carrying in while securing the efficient control of articles without enlarging a space for storing the articles. SOLUTION: This inventory control system is provided with a plurality of racks comprising a plurality of stages and a rack device storing the articles in an arbitrary stage of an arbitrary rack. It is also provided with a storage position data storage means storing codes according to articles and storage position data regulating the stage of the rack storing the articles by corresponding to each other; a storage position data replacing means replacing the storage contents of the storage position data storage means, when replacing the storage states of the articles in the rack device, namely when, carrying in, carrying out, and arranging the racks; and a storage position data search means accessing to the storage position data storage means and providing the storage position data of the articles, when demanding the storage position data of some article. |
