<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate denture attachment usable for a long time for easily recovering the initial function with the exchange of detachable parts by fitting a component to be fixed as an upper structure of a natural tooth as a supporting tooth or the root of an artificial tooth implanted in a jaw bone to a component disposed and fixed to the bed side of a plate denture. SOLUTION: One component is a male which consists of a neck portion 1b erected on a fixed portion 1c and a spherical portion 1a, while the other component is a female which consists of an approximately cylindrical housing member 2 having a hollow portion 2b communicating with an opening 2a larger in diameter than the spherical potion 1a and an plastic rider 3 elastic and softer than the spherical portion 1a adapted to be attached/detached to/from the hollow portion 2b and engaged and mounted in the hollow portion 2b, having a holding space 3b communicating with an opening 3a smaller in diameter than the spherical portion 1a for holding the spherical portion 1a on the inner face of the space and a slit 3c connected to the opening 3a.</p> |
