PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aramid fiber cord for the bonding to a polyurethane resin, having excellent adhesivity to polyurethane resin and long pot life of the treating liquid and treated cord in the production process and especially suitable for the reinforcement of a power transmission resin belt. SOLUTION: The objective method for the production of an aramid fiber cord for the bonding to a polyurethane resin comprises the treatment with a treating liquid containing polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate as a main component and an organic solvent as the solvent. The NCO content of the treating liquid is preferably 2-10 wt.%. |
