PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction plate for preventing shaking of base isolation house by wind which is easily constructible at a low cost and can sufficiently cope with the displacement by a large earthquake motion while saving the space. SOLUTION: This friction plate for preventing shaking of base isolation house by wind comprises a strip foundation-side base tool 2 having a hole 10 for passing a shaft 7 at one end, a strip sill-side base tool 4 similarly having a hole 10 for passing the shaft 7 at one end and case 1 for housing the foundation-side base tool 2, a friction plate 3 provided alternately on the foundation-side base tool 2 and sill-side base tool 4 lateral directions between both the tools 2 and 3, and a friction plate fixture 5 having the shaft 7. The friction plate fixture 5 is provided on each of a sill and a foundation in the state where the shaft 7 is movably passed through the hole 10 provided in the friction plate 3.
