PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water leakage from the engaging part of a metalmade roof plate material and metallic sound and thermal change during rainfall. SOLUTION: The roof plate material 10 has a roof plate member 12 formed of the plate material of prescribed width in long size, a joining member 14 attached to both the long sides of the roof plate member 12, and a fixing member 16 fixed on a sheathing roof board N and a rafter T projected from the center part of the prescribed width of the roof plate member 12. The joining member 14 attaches a member assembled so that a leg part 14a comprising a wide plate material in the long size of the same length as the roof plate member 12 and a turning-over part 14b comprising the plate material of the substantially half width of the leg part 14a is in the form of substantially J- shape in a cross section to the substantially center part of the leg part 14a on both the long sides of the roof plate member 12 substantially orthogonally so that the turning-over part is outside and rotation-symmetrical. In addition, the fixing member 16 embeds one end of a screw rod 16b on a rectangular parallelepiped shape body, and the screw rod 16b projected from the body 16b is fixed by nuts by penetrating the sheathing roof board N and the rafter T.
