PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molding material of granular shape for sealing by which high productivity and yield can be ensured. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the molding material of granular shape for sealing is characterized in that a powdery molding material for sealing is thermally granulated and then is vibration-cooled to obtain the molding material of granular shape for sealing.
