PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ultraviolet-curable resin composition which, when used for a coating material, or the like, does not cause a problem such as decrease in productivity or environment deterioration, especially an ultraviolet-curable resin composition which does not contain an organic solvent, has a good workability, and is suitable for applications such as a coating material. SOLUTION: The above purpose is accomplished by using an oilgoester all the terminal groups of which are esterified and at least one terminal group forms an ester with a hydroxylated oxetane compound and which has an average mol.wt. of 500-5,000. The ultraviolet-curable resin composition contains the oligoester and a cationic pohotpolymerization catalyst.
