PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal container with a mouth cap seamed to an opening end part, which is constituted so that a using material is reduced, the container is excellent in an external appearance and sanitary in a resealed state. SOLUTION: A metal container is provided with a mouth neck part 7 to engage a mouth cap 4 with a seal cap, a skirt wall 7 connected to its one end part and having an essentially truncated conical shape, a chuck wall 9 extending from its skirt part to the direction opposite to the mouth neck part 7, an annular flat plate part 10 extending from its one end outward in the radial direction, a flange part 12 extending from its peripheral edge to a mouth neck part 4 side and a sealant 50 to be coated from the outer face of the annular flat plate part 10 over the outer face of the flange part 12. A double seam part 60, which is made by seaming the flange part 12 and the opening end part 3 of a can body 2, is folded/lapped on the outer face of the annular flat plate part 10 in the same direction to the skirt part 8 essentially. |
