ABNORMALITY DIAGNOTIC DEVICE FOR EVAPORATION PURGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect a fuel level in a fuel tank in a fuel oscillation detecting factor used in a diagnostic condition by a control means, perform accurate decision despite of a fuel state, and improve reliability on control of diagnosis. SOLUTION: A means is provided to detect a fuel level. Oscillation of a fuel level by an evaporation purge system after starting of an internal combustion engine forms an evaporation purge condition. A factor to determine an average fuel level for detecting a fuel remaining amount and a factor for detecting fuel oscillation used in an evaporation purge diagnosing condition are individually set. A control means is provided to perform diagnosis of abnormality by using a factor for detecting fuel oscillation.
