PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a constructing frame trestle and timbering for supporting a steel skeleton truss top part to facilitate measurement and correction of the position of split truss units to be sequentially connected in a no- timbering construction method, and to secure safety of a high-lift work. SOLUTION: After a new split unit 46 is put in the connecting state on a working bench 1 connected to an existing part of a roof frame 45, a suspending wire 26 is connected to the existing part of the roof frame, and a lifting wire 27 is connected to the adjacent existing split unit in the circumferential direction. After the working bench is lowered to a designated height by winch driving for the suspending wire 26, the working bench is lifted by winch driving for the lifting wire 2, thereby turning the load of the working bench from the suspending wire to the lifting wire to move the working bench in the circumferential direction. A further new split unit is sequentially connected to the moved working bench to form a circumferential ring in the inner periphery of the existing part. This operation is repeated to form a dome-like roof.
