PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building which secures a sufficient floor area of a habitable room and which is easy in an erection work. SOLUTION: In the unit building 1, a main entrance unit 30 is provided with a main entrance earthen floor 30B along the whole length of the shorter side of a main entrance earthen floor 30B of which the shorter side is the half of that of first and second floor building units 10, 20 or smaller than that and which is lower than other floor faces, and which is formed separately from the first floor building unit 10 and the second floor building unit 20 of which the longer side and the shorter side of a rectangular form are set in a specified size respectively. Since a sufficient habitable floor area can be secured and the main entrance earthen floor 30B is provided along the whole length of the shorter side of the main entrance unit 30, the skeleton of the main entrance unit 30 is not complicated. Hence, the erection work of the unit building 1 is facilitated.
