PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost thermal transfer receiving sheet which can form a clear image having high gloss high sensitivity, and high image quality for various thermal printers and is good in print curl without generating peeling irregularity. SOLUTION: In a method for producing the thermal transfer receiving sheet in which a porous resin layer, a smooth resin layer, a dyeing resin layer are formed in turn on one side of a cellulose core material sheet, the porous resin layer is applied on one side of the core material sheet, a resin is melt-extruded on the porous resin layer, smoothing treatment is applied by using a mat surface cooling roll to form the smooth resin layer, and the dyeing receiving resin layer is formed on the smooth resin layer. |
