PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trocar type peripheral vein catheter wherein a rising stance does not greatly collapse due to sterilization. SOLUTION: This trocar type peripheral vein catheter is a vein catheter including a piercing member 1, a catheter tube 2, a sleeve 3, an insertion section 4 having a wing, and a pipe-form member 5. Then, the vein catheter can advance the catheter tube 2 by advancing the sleeve 3. The catheter can pinch the catheter tube 2 between the tip end section and the piercing member 1 by fitting a protector 7 on the tip end section of the insertion section 4 having the wing, and the sterilization is performed under a state wherein the catheter tube 2 made of a polyurethane based shape-memory resin is being fixed. |
