摘要

shipbuilding; building of outriggers for multi-hulled semi-submerged vessels. SUBSTANCE: outrigger has body, strut connected with this body intersecting water surface and underwater pod connected with strut. Midship frame of strut is shifted sternward from midship frame of outrigger body. Strut is partially brought to stern from bottom of outrigger body. Fore edge of strut is shifted sternward from beginning of bottom of outrigger body. Aft portion of bottom of outrigger body (beginning with fore edge of strut) is raised sternward. Outrigger body bottom is located above specified waterline of vessel. Length of horizontal section of upper portion of strut may be lesser than that of lower portion of strut. EFFECT: reduced resistance to outrigger motion at ahead running of vessel. 2 cl, 4 dwg
