METHOD OF CLEANING PIPES FROM ASPHALT-GUM-PARAFFIN DEPOSITS

oil and gas producing industry; cleaning pipes from asphalt-gum-paraffin deposits. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes heating the pipes to temperature exceeding melting point of asphalt-gum-paraffin deposits by feeding the thermal radiation carrier to surface of pipes followed by removal of molten products. Prior to cleaning the pipes they are laid in bank; used as thermal radiation carrier is air flow at temperature not below 200 C and linear velocity of no less than 30 m/s; air source is arranged on side of one of ends of pipe bank, coaxially relative to it. Air flow used as thermal radiation carrier is formed as pulses at duration not exceeding 0.5 s. EFFECT: increased productivity; enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
