PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch device for a sewing machine constituted to perform bobbin winding work by cutting off conduction between a pulley and an arm shaft by the turning operation of a bobbin winder frame of a bobbin winder complete when performing bobbin winding work. SOLUTION: A clutch operating piece is fitted to the bobbin winder frame of the bobbin winder complete, and connection between the pulley and a clutch is detached by the turning motion of the bobbin winder frame to cut off conduction between the pulley and the arm shaft.
