<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of a glaring part on the surface side of a lid body. SOLUTION: This lid structure of an air bag device for a vehicle has a lid body 3 formed of a monolayer injection-molded product of thermoplastic elastomer to cover the upper part of an air bag module body; leg parts 6 formed on the back face side of the lid body 2 for fitting the air bag module body; and cleavage grooves 21 provided along the inside of the root parts of the leg parts 6 to form a swelling opening of a bag body. Injection molding resin is cast from the outer peripheral part of the lid body 3 across the leg part 6 to the cleavage groove 21.
