PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt with high tooth chipping resistance even in high load transmission by increasing the stiffness of a belt tooth part while the kneading property of rubber and the fluidity of rubber in molding vulcanization are satisfactorily kept. SOLUTION: A belt tooth part is formed of an unvulcanized rubber composition prepared by blending 3-8 pts.wt. bismaleimide to 100 pts.wt. chloroprene rubber. Alternatively, the belt tooth part is formed of an unvulcanized rubber composition prepared by blending zinc methacrylate and organic peroxide to nitrile rubber.
