PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent a weaving bar (a stop mark) by correcting the position of a cloth fell according to the shedding situation of a warp in a precedent halting condition when starting a loom. SOLUTION: In the loom 1 having both of a shedding machine 20 with heddles arranged in a plurality of rows along the pathway of a warp 7 and members 2, 4 and 13 capable of correcting the cloth fell 11 position of a woven cloth 10, the shedding situation of the warp 7 when the shedding of the warp 7 is in a stationary condition is found when the loom 1 is in a halting condition, and when the loom 1 is started the above members 2, 4 and 13 are driven based on driving quantities set according to the above shedding situation of the warp 7 to correct the position of the cloth fell 11.
