PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel/shift control device for a working vehicle that can ensure travel motion with stepped shifts and travel motion with continuous shifts. SOLUTION: An interlock mechanism 20 interlocks a shift lever 13 with a control portion 10a of a continuously variable transmission for travel motion generation. For an operation of the shift lever 13 in a forward low-speed control range FL and in a reverse low-speed control range RL, friction type position retaining means 50 retain the shift lever 13 in a step-less control position to thereby retain the continuously variable transmission in a continuously controlled speed phase. For an operation of the shift lever 13 in a forward high-speed control range FH and in a reverse high-speed control range RH, lock type position retaining means 30 retain the shift lever 13 in a stepped control position to thereby retain the continuously variable transmission in a step-controlled speed phase.
