PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow chamber shut-off implement usable in either case of fitting or non-fitting a drain hose with improved vibration damping and sound proofing effects. SOLUTION: This hollow chamber shut-off implement 1 for shutting off a hollow part of a hollow structure using a foam member, has a connection port 14a for connecting a drain hose, on one face side, and a drain port 26a on the other face side. A passage from the connection port 14a to the drain port 26a is formed in nonlinear shape by a buffer part formed by a cylindrical part 14, a tapered part 12, a cylindrical part 22, a bottom plate 25 and a small cylinder part 26. In either case of fitting or non-fitting the drain hose, the direct transmission of sound and vibration through the connection port 14a or drain port 26 is thereby prevented to improve soundproofing and vibration damping effects.
