PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder capable of favorably holding a throw-away tip with a wear sensor. SOLUTION: A pocket is formed on a tip mounting part 4 on a head end of a holder 1. A probe insertion hole 19 is formed on a deep side surface of the pocket 5. A probe 41 fixed by a probe fixture 44 is mounted on this probe hole 19. A probe 21 is rarely broken as the probe 41 is not influenced upon even in the case when the throw-away tip is damaged, etc. It is possible to make the probe 41 a holder free to favorably electrically connect to the wear sensor of the throw-away tip 2.
