PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a waiting time from setting imaging conditions to expose an X-ray. SOLUTION: In this instrument, a decision whether a cooling waiting time is necessary or not is made based on the inputted and set imaging conditions of computed tomography and heat storage information of an X-ray tube 1 till performing the next computed tomography. Where the cooling waiting time is necessary, a plurality of candidate imaging conditions for shortening the cooling waiting time and waiting times corresponding to the respective conditions are displayed so that an operator can select appropriate imaging conditions. Reference tomographic images corresponding to the candidate imaging conditions are displayed so as to estimate the photographing result. This instrument can shorten the waiting time and prevent re-imaging caused by setting of inappropriate conditions.
