PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cleaning implement of simple constitution capable of easily and exchangeably connecting a wiping member and a handle without using an adhesive material or a screw or the like. SOLUTION: This cleaning implement is composed of a rectangular wiping member 2 for which wiping sheets are adhered to both upper and lower surfaces of a base material 3 composed of a freely compressible and deformable sponge body and attaching holes 5 are formed on both side faces and the handle 1 to be attached to the wiping member 2. An attaching part 1b at the tip of the handle 1 is provided with a pair of left and right columnar clamping arms 7 forked and extended to the front part of the handle. On intermediate positions near tip parts in the respective clamping arms 7, inward projections 8 to be fitted to the attaching holes 5 of the wiping member 2 are respectively formed. The wiping member 2 is attached between the clamping arms 7 by fitting the projections 8 into the attaching holes 5 in the state of being compressed and deformed in a horizontal width direction.
