PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain pollution-less lubricating agent capable of substituting the conventional lubricating oil. SOLUTION: This lubricating agent is constituted by an aqueous solution containing >=0.1 wt.% sugar such as a purified sugar, crude sugar, theriac- containing sugar, etc. Such lubricating agent can exhibit a good lubricating property (abrasion resistance, frictional coefficient) equivalent to or better than those of the conventional petroleum-based lubricating oil, and can be served for a variety of uses widely as substituting the conventional lubricating oil. The dynamic viscosity of these lubricating agent is relatively small value of <=7 cSt. Further, by adding 0.01-5 wt.% antiseptic agent having less effect to an environment such as sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, etc., it is possible to inhibit the emergence of bacteria or moulds. |
