摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding nozzle, with which the economization is drastically improved and the service life of an oxygen ion conductive body is extended and the always needed current can be secured, when the stickiness of metallic oxide to the nozzle inner wall is prevented by using the oxygen ion conductive body, in the sliding nozzle for a metallurgical vessel. SOLUTION: In a part or the whole of an upper nozzle 3, respective SN plates 4 and a lower nozzle 5 constituting the sliding nozzle 7 arranged on the bottom part of the metallurgical vessel, the surface in contact with passed molten metal 2 is partially constituted with the oxygen ion conductive body 9, and a means for impressing DC current into the interval between this oxygen ion conductive body 9 and the molten metal 2 is provided. The oxygen ion conductive body 9 is contained with 3-12 mol% of one or more kinds among lime, yttria, magnesia and the balance zirconia with inevitable impurities.
