PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lower support structure of the movable tooth plate in a jaw crusher constituted so as to be able not only to control the lateral shift movement of the movable tooth plate but also to prevent the abrasion of a swing jaw while sufficiently using the movable tooth plate so that the abrasion of the movable tooth plate reaches the almost whole plate thickness in the abrasion at the central part of the lower end of the movable tooth plate. SOLUTION: A jaw crusher is equipped with the fixed tooth plate 6 fixed to a machine frame 1, the movable tooth plate 4 attached to the front surface of a swing jaw 2 subjected to shaking motion and the crushing space 5 formed between the fixed tooth plate and the movable tooth plate and constituted so as to hold the object to be crushed charged in the crushing space between the fixed tooth plate and the movable tooth plate under pressure to crush the same. Notch parts 41, 42 are formed to both side parts of the lower and upper ends of the rear surface of the movable tooth plate so as to be depressed up to the almost intermediate part of the plate thickness of the movable tooth plate and the jaw-shaped projected parts 21 engaged with both notch parts on the lower end side of the movable tooth plate not only to support the movable tooth plate but also to control the lateral shift movement of the movable tooth plate are provided to both side parts of the lower end of the front surface of the swing jaw.
