PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp which portion causes an error by defective command communication and to prevent a trouble on the data collection by a tester. SOLUTION: A CPU not shown in the figure receives fluctuation pattern specifying commands and a pattern stop command, and it judges that at least one pattern specifying command is missing when it does not receive three pattern specifying commands. The previous pattern is displayed in the display area of a special pattern display device 100 in place of the pattern to be primarily displayed by the missing command, and a pattern display device error signal indicating the occurrence of the missing command in the tester is outputted to the tester at the on level when the pattern stop command is received. There is no problem on data collection, and the occurrence of the missing command in the pattern specifying commands can be grasped by the tester when the pattern display device error signal is outputted.
