PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind force converter capable of causing motion by wind in a narrow operation range, reducing the installation space by a simple constitution, constituting each member of a simple structure by reducing centrifugal force of wind, and reducing wind noise. SOLUTION: This wind force converter is provided with a base 2 and a blade member 3 mounted thereon, and adapted to take as power the motion when the blade surfaces S1, S2 of the blade member are subjected to wind with a gradient to the wind direction to be turned. The blade member 3 is formed by the blade main body 4 and the base part 5 for supporting the body 4, the base part 5 is journaled to the base 2 to freely reciprocate and turn in a first angle range A1 through a first journal part C1 disposed substantially horizontally in the shaft center direction, and the blade main body 4 is journaled to the base part 5 to freely reciprocate and turn in a second angle range through a second journal part C2. This converter is provided with blade turning means 6, 13 for turning the blade main body through the second journal part to place the other blade surface opposite to wind when one blade surface of the blade main body is subjected to wind and the blade member is turned to the terminal end of the first angle range through the first journal part. |
