PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic closure body suitable for sealing a prefilled cartridge container and a prefilled medical container. SOLUTION: A plastic closure body includes an almost tubular section 142 encircling a rim 126 of the container and a free end section 144 permanently deformed or clamped in the radius direction on a neck of the container. The plastic closure body is composed of a polymer, preferably a polymer alloy or a molten blend of sufficient malleability so that the radius direction deformation is possible, of sufficient rigidity to retain its shape following the deformation and of sufficient durability to creep to retain the sealing properties between the plastic closure body and the container following the deformation.
