PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a roll screen device as a bottom bar is not dropped from a holding member even if a screen is broken in a state to hold the screen to let it out by locking the bottom bar with the holding member. SOLUTION: A locking member 15 of the bottom bar 13 mounted to the lower end edge of the screen 12 is locked with a locking slot 24 of the holding member 20 to hold the screen 12 in a state to let it out. The locking member 15 is constituted of a shaft 30 and a flange 31, the locking slot 24 of the holding member 20 is formed of a vertical slot 25 and an access slot 26 in an approximately T shape. The shaft 30 is put into the vertical slot 25 from the access slot 26, the shaft 30 is brought into contact with a stopper 27 on the upper part of the vertical slot 25 to hold the screen 12 in a state to let it out, and when the screen 12 is broken in such a state, the shaft 30 is dropped to bring into contact with a holding section 28 of the lower part of the vertical slot 25 to prevent it from falling down.
