PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent liquid detergent composition having excellent rinsing properties and detergency, useful for hard surface of kitchen, etc., skin and hair. SOLUTION: This transparent liquid detergent composition is characterized in that the composition comprises (a) 1-30 mass % of an anionic surfactant, (b) >=1 mass % of a nonionic surfactant and (c) 0.0001-1 mass % of at least one ion selected from manganese, cobalt, nickel, copper, silver, zinc and tin.
